On Sunday 22nd May we were delighted to see the return of the Sunderland Karate championships. This was the 11th year and it proved to be a very promising event for everyone who attended. Over 130 competitors, 150 spectators and many officials attended the event, all contributing to make the event so successful. Many congratulations to all of the competitors that took part, win, lose or draw, everyone conducted themselves excellently and were a credit to their clubs.
Thank you to all of the sponsors for their generous support. And finally a huge thank you to all of the Sendai Kushiro members, parents and supporters for their huge effort before during and after the championship that allowed for the smooth running of the day.
