Northern Region Kumite Development Squad

The KUGB’s newly formed Northern Region Kumite Development Squad took place on Sunday 15th July 2012 at the Leeds Shotokan Dojo. Many students travelled from all over the North and also KUGB members from the Central and Southern regions also attended. The days training started with an all grades course which covered Kihon, Kata and Kumite with over 60 participants enjoying the classes taught by Sensei Jimmy Brennan and Sensei John Bruce.

Following the all grades course a selection for the 2012 KUGB Northern Region Kumite Development Squad took place. This was extremely well attended and the standard and attitude shown was fantastic.

We would like to congratulate all Sendai Kushiro members that were selected.
